We are committed to creating a place where young people can belong, grow, and encounter God.
What is Entrance?
Entrance is our youth ministry at Vineyard Church for students 6-12th grade. Our goal is to create an experience where students can meet Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. We accomplish this by offering weekly youth experiences during the weekend service, small groups in multiple house locations on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, and a once a month event called Entrance Night.
What to Expect
Every student who walks through our doors is greeted by a group of excited people ready to welcome you to another awesome youth experience! If it is your first visit, that’s great. You’ll be directed to a table to give us a little information about yourself. It’s very important for us to know who you are, who your parents are, and how to get in contact in case of emergency and to let you know about upcoming events.
Safety is extremely important to us. Our volunteers are background-checked and trained to create a safe, secure environment for every student.
Entrance House Parties
We value small group relationships.
Life can be difficult and doubts of all kinds can creep in, particularly with teenagers. Having friends and adult leaders is critical to understanding who we are in Christ. Our small groups provide space for students and leaders to talk through tough questions.
These happen every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in homes. Please see the Vineyard Network Directory to find the Entrance Youth House Party closest to you.
Students are faced with very high level questions. Who is God really? What difference does He make in my life? Who am I? What is my purpose? How do I know if I’m making the best decisions? The Bible provides relevant answers to questions like these. Our teaching provides biblical, foundational truth for questions teenagers deal with every day.
We have fun
Entrance is the perfect place for students to do their favorite things: play games, listen to music, and hang out with friends. There’s always something selfie-worthy or ready to add to a Snapchat story. Students will definitely want to share what’s happening at Entrance.
We believe students are not the leaders of tomorrow, but the leaders of today. Volunteering in the church is one of the best ways for students to make their faith their own. Through what we call Growth Track, students can begin to be the church and develop their leadership while volunteering in one of many teams during the weekend.
Today’s youth will be leading our church tomorrow. It’s important to help them develop a strong foundation of faith and friendships that will help them boldly follow God’s will. Volunteer with Entrance and help students discover who they can be through Christ.
