Recovery for the City - As most of you know, Bert & Jerry Hess will be leaving the area and will no longer be leading Recovery for the City in Virginia Beach. We will miss them and we wish them the best, as they have been with us for many years. Vineyard Community Church will be gearing up to start the Recovery ministry again in 2010, and we are very excited about the new year. In the meantime, please feel free to contact the overseeing pastor, Sasha Brown, if you have any questions.
There are also plans for reinitiating other healing ministries at Vineyard Community Church in 2010 as well. More information to come…
Living Waters - Living Waters is an in-depth, Christ-centered program for people seeking healing in areas of sexual and relational brokenness. A healing, teaching, and discipleship series, Living Waters addresses the reality that we are all broken in our ability to love others well. The goal of Living Waters is to lay a foundation for sexual and relational wholeness in our lives. Living Waters is offered around the United States and the world.
Living Waters is particularly relevant to those struggling with homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, the effects of sexual abuse, codependency, self-hatred, or the inability to love others well. Thankfully, Christ's capacity to touch and restore us at deep levels of shame and brokenness extends to all of us, regardless of the specifics of our issues.
Forgive and Live - This is a 12-week Bible study that requires a commitment to homework, regular attendance, and self-disclosure. The closed group is limited to 14 people and childcare is provided. There is a $16.00 materials fee for the class. Click here to purchase a book online. Please contact Beth Hunter at 687.8783 for more information.
