Leader Training I will be held on Sunday, August 17th from 1:00pm to
3:00pm
upstairs
in the Community Room. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Sign up in

Youth Camping Trip
August 18-20, 2008
Our youth will be taking a camping trip to Camp Cale in Hertford, NC
from August 18-20. Come worship & hear the Word as you roast
marshmallows, hang out with friends and meet new people. There will be
many fun activities including a rock wall, swimming, basketball,
canoeing, volleyball, a ropes course and a special games event at "The
Bog." The cost of the trip is $70.00 per person which includes meals at
camp and activities. You must have your permission slip signed, turned
in and paid by August 14th! Only the first 40 people can go so be sure
to sign up now as spots will fill up fast. If you have any questions,

Beach Baptism
August 24, 2008
Sunday, August 24th, we will be having an oceanfront baptism. The
baptism class will be held upstairs during the 11:00am service, then we
will drive to 65th street at the oceanfront for the baptism. Please
bring your bible for the class as well as a towel and change of clothes
for the beach. If interested, please call the church at 424-4444 for

All Church Worship
August 27, 2008
Please join us at our
"All Church Worship, Communion and Prayer" Evening Service on Wednesday,
August 27th at 7:00pm. We want to get together corporately for
worship and to pray for all the ministries, the building renovation
plans, the exciting up and coming events planned for the rest of the
year and what God has for us in 2009. It is an all church event so
everyone is invited to come and be a part of this time to gather
