The late John Wimber, founder of Vineyard movement, defined worship as “freely giving love to God.” While worship is not limited to “musical celebrations,” our musical celebrations are exclusively focused on worshipping God. Corporate worship is a crucial defining activity for our church. Each Sunday we come together joining our hearts and voices to praise God for His greatness and to thank Him for His goodness. Our worship is a response to God for who He is and what He has done for us in Jesus Christ. The focus of Christian worship should not be on what we get (good feelings, peace, belonging – though these may be perfectly legitimate by-products), but rather on what we give. We are called to adore and pay homage to God and are privileged to be invited to do so; worship is thus an end to itself, indeed, the highest of all ends. 

In keeping with our mission statement, our music is contemporary in nature. The relevance and popularity of Vineyard Worship Music is now well known throughout much of the world.

A taste of Vineyard Music:  "Sweetly Broken" by Jeremy Riddle

Songwriter Jeremy Riddle, took a brief detour and pursued a secular music career where he gathered an avid following but gave it up when he realized his motivation was wrong and ultimately returned to his destiny as a worshipper. Jeremy is now the head of the junior high ministries at the Anaheim Vineyard. His song, Sweetly Broken, tells of the bitter-sweet experience of the cross, where love and loss collide.
