Since 2002 Vineyard Community Church has partnered with
La Viña Church in
Mazatlan, Mexico to reach out to the lost and impoverished people in this area by sharing the love of Jesus Christ in a real and tangible way. In addition, our church is part of the Vineyard Partners - Central Mexico, which consists of approximately 30 Vineyard churches committed to giving their time, energy, and resources toward planting churches in Mexico.
Each year short-term missions teams from our church travel to Mazatlan for 9 days. Our teams consist of men and women, young and old, veterans, and newcomers who are passionate about being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to the people of
Mazatlan. While in Mazatlan, our teams focus on the following ministries:
Medical Ministry
This ministry includes a doctor and nurses who provide medical aid to an average of 350 men, women, and children. In addition, medications and vitamins are dispensed.

Feeding Ministry
This ministry starts their day at Sam's Club to purchase food and then uses a mobile kitchen to prepare and serve over 2,000 meals.

Community Outreach Ministry
This ministry walks through the colonias (neighborhoods) to invite families to the outreach events as well as provides prayer, clothes, shoes, glasses, food, haircuts, and Bibles.

Children’s Ministry
This ministry reaches out to the children of Mazatlan through teachings from God’s Word, worship music and dance, clown and puppet shows, and lots of activities.
