Our Vision Statement
We aim to fulfill our mission by creating a caring and joyous church; people marked by love, acceptance, and forgiveness, where men and women, young and old, can come experience Jesus in simplicity and fullness.
We will present Jesus Christ through alive and contemporary music, creative visual arts, and credible teaching in a casual and inclusive environment.
Our desire is to see people give themselves fully to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through worship, the study and application of God's word, and the cultivation of caring and godly relationships.
We see people coming to know Jesus Christ, becoming equipped and activated into the giftings, callings, and vocations that God has ordained for their lives and places of service in the church and in our community.
Through the grace of God, coupled with these above components, we see the Hampton Roads area and beyond being impacted by the Good News of Jesus Christ as the Kingdom of God becomes extended through a clear multi-ethnic message and authentic demonstration of His disciplines.
Our Priorities
Worship - We desire spiritually empowered worship in a style that is relaxed, contemporary, and life changing.
Scripture - We want to study, teach, and obey the Bible.
Prayer - We are committed (individually and corporately) to pray for each other, our community, our nation, and the world. We want our lives centered on Christ through prayer.
Family - We are dedicated to uphold the sanctity, integrity, and development of marriage and family relationships.
Relationships - We encourage close, personal friendships built on genuine love and faithfulness. We facilitate this through small groups ministries. These groups encourage personal growth and provide training in all aspects of Christian living.
Ministry - We believe all Christians are called to actively minister God's mercy and power with compassion and humility.
Church Planting & Missions - We are committed to personal evangelism, community involvement, church renewal, church planting, and missions.
