Adult Auditorium for Teaching and Creative Arts
Because communities worship together, the expansion will include a very functional, arts-friendly auditorium with quality audiovisual and sound equipment that will seat a total capacity of 1000. There will be a new balcony with a critically needed additional 200 seats, and will house a platform to run sound, lighting and our video projection. This will enable us to host regional trainings, workshops and other conferences. A larger seating capacity will enable us to reduce our worship services from four per weekend to two, allowing for extended teaching and ministry time as well as holding them at optimal inviting hours. There will be a larger stage, allowing for drama and musical productions. In the auditorium, there will be a room designated for prayer that will create a more intimate environment for those receiving ministry. We will have a sound proof fussy-baby room, which will allow moms and dads to tend to their infants, but still continue to see and hear the worship service. 

Connecting
Because our church revolves around friendships and shared experiences of God’s grace, our renovated facility will be a place of gathering and connecting. Some of the features that will facilitate this will include a second-floor chapel that will seat 300 people. It will function as a venue fully equipped to handle services such as youth church, recovery groups, Living Waters, Vineyard Bible Institute and other large meeting groups, and can also be used for weddings, receptions and funerals. There will be multiple rooms for small-group teaching such as Alpha, Good $ense, youth discipleship, adult Bible classes and leadership meetings. We will be tripling the existing number of classrooms. The entrance and foyer area will be renovated and will include space to greet friends and wait for invited guests. The Sacred Grounds Café and outdoor patio, a popular spot for coffee and connecting with friends, will maintain its present location.

Children’s and Youth Ministries
It is our goal that our children and youth feel welcomed, valued and cared for while they learn who Jesus is, how to follow Him, and how basic Bible truths can help them make God glorifying choices now and throughout their lives. Our renovated Promiseland will feature amenities designed for a more effective and safe children’s ministry. They will have an increase in the number of classrooms, allowing us to offer more individualized care to specific age groups within our children’s ministry.

Our upstairs chapel will be more suitable for our youth services. The venue will better accommodate their needs. They will have their own café connected with their arcade in a multifaceted room, which will be more user-friendly. 

Accessibility/Fire Code
Our current facility has limitations in its accessibility for people with disabilities. Our renovated facility will be fully handicapped accessible. We will have reconstructed ramps and doors, and an elevator to transport people to our second floor rooms. We will have new and expanded restroom facilities, which will also be fully handicapped accessible. The entire building will be fire rated with a sprinkler system. 

Infrastructure 
Our office spaces will be fully renovated. As God gives us increase, there needs to be an increase in workspaces for volunteers, interns and paid staff in our office and administrative areas. Our pastoral and administrative personnel are critically important in the day-to-day operations of the church and represent the infrastructure which supports the church body.

Building Exterior
There will be some aesthetic changes to the entrance and outside of the building. The entrance will feature an icon in the likeness of a lighthouse, and siding will be added to beautify the building. Unfortunately, we only have 50 parking spaces and this will not change. We have partnered with businesses in the surrounding office park that allow us to use their parking for weekend services. Also, we are using Expressway Drive, which offers public parking.
